I take your privacy very seriously and I will only ever use your personal information to enable me to carry out the services you have requested and we have agreed upon. This privacy policy explains how Sarah-Lou Beauty looks after personal information you provide or that I learn by having you as a client and the choices you make about how I communicate with you. The Information I collect about you
I collect information about you when you book an appointment for a service or treatment, when I visit you to carry out a service or treatment, when you make an enquiry to me about a service or treatment, or when you complete a post-treatment survey, whether contact is online, on paper, by email or over the phone.
The information you give me may include your name, address, email address, phone number, relevant history which may suggest that a service or treatment should not go ahead or certain products should not be used (eg allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions), IP address, and information on your views of my service provided.
For clients under the age of 16, I will only keep and use their personal information with the consent of a parent, carer or guardian.
It may also be necessary for me to contact you after a service has been carried out, for example to request feedback on my services. If you do not wish me to contact you in this way please let me know.
Photography
As part of my work with you, I may need to take photographs as a reference and/or for the purposes of service delivery. I may also use photographs of you, with your permission, on my website and social media pages.
How information about you will be used
All information provided to me is collected to ensure compliance with my professional insurance and for the purposes of client record keeping and service improvements. I will never share your information with any other third party without your consent, except to help prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law.
How long your information will be kept for
Unless you request otherwise, I will keep your information for a minimum of 7 years from the date of your last treatment.
Access to your information
You have the right to access any of your data held by me at any time, and this will be shared with you within 30 days of your written request. I want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up-to-date. You may ask me to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. You have the right to ask me to delete, remove or stop using your personal information if there is no need for me to keep it.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.
